Dr. Vicente Quintero was born and raised in the small border town of Mission, Texas, in a family of nine children. He used his love of math and science to earn a B.S. in Pharmacy from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin. He then pursued a medical degree at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his residency in Dermatology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Quintero specializes in treating diseases of the skin, hair and nails, and has special interest in the treatment of Psoriasis and hair loss. As a native Texan, and his desire to practice in a small town brought Dr. Quintero to New Braunfels, where he began in private practice in 2001. Dr. Quintero is active in his community and has a passion for medical missions to countries like Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, Cuba, and others. Dr. Quintero is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Danielle Brown grew up in Louisiana. She went to Rice University where she majored in Biochemistry and Global Health Technologies before attending Baylor College of Medicine. She earned a Diploma in Tropical Medicine at Baylor and a Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers’ Health from the American Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene. Dr. Brown completed Dermatology Residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, where she served as Chief Resident. At UT Southwestern, she earned the 2020 Leadership Award, Humanitarian Service Award and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She is currently completing a fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. She treats skin disease in patients of all ages. Her interests include pediatric skin conditions, birthmarks, vascular lesions, family skin health, skin cancer, psoriasis, rashes, blistering disorders, and eczema.
Danielle came to know the Lord at a very young age. She aims to daily show God’s love through her work as a physician. She has a passion for international services and has served in Lesotho, Malawi, Peru, Honduras and Nepal.
Dr. Jose A. Cervantes is a native of Laredo Texas. Prior to pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Cervantes served in the United States Air Force as a Pararescueman, an elite medical operator trained to provide personnel recovery in austere and non-permissive environments. Throughout his military career Dr. Cervantes deployed multiple times to Afghanistan, Iraq and the Horn of Africa. Dr. Cervantes continues to serve in the Air Force Reserve as the Chief Enlisted Manager at the 306th Rescue Squadron. Dr. Cervantes completed his medical training at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson during which time he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and selected by his peers into the Gold Humanism Honors Society. After completing an internship at the Tucson Hospital Medical Education Program, he went on to his dermatology training at the University of Texas Dell Medical School in Austin Texas where he currently serves as the Chief Resident. Dr. Cervantes has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national, regional, and local academic meetings. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He has a special interest in medical missions, cutaneous oncology and dermatologic surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Cervantes enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hiking, fishing, boating and exercising.
